Privacy Policy for Anbin Parimatram

This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Anbin Parimatram (அன்பின் பரிமாற்றம்) (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Charles Newton. The Application is a comprehensive Christian utility app designed for Bible study, worship, photo editing, and church management.

1. Information We Collect and Use

A. User-Generated Content (Status Design & Photo Editing) The Application allows you to create “Verse Cards” by uploading your own photos or using default backgrounds.

Camera & Gallery: We access your device’s camera and photo gallery only to allow you to select images for editing (cropping, adding frames/text).

Local Processing: All image editing is performed locally on your device. We do not upload your personal photos or the status images you create to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them via third-party apps (like WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.).

B. Prayer Requests & Church Features

Prayer Requests: If you use the “Prayer Request” feature, the information you provide (name, prayer details) is transmitted securely to the app administrator/church team to pray for you.

Reminders: The app allows you to set reminders for birthdays, anniversaries, and memorial days. This data is stored locally on your device to trigger notifications.

C. Projector & Multimedia Mode

The app connects to external displays (TV/Projectors) to display lyrics, sermons, and Bible verses. This feature does not collect or transmit personal data; it simply mirrors content from your device to the screen.

D. Community Directories (Christian Store & Music Teachers) To use community features like the “Christian Store” or “Music Teachers Directory,” you may voluntarily submit personal information such as your Name, Phone Number, District, and details about your service or items.

Cloud Storage: This information is stored securely in our cloud database (Google Firebase).
Public Display: The data you provide is collected solely to facilitate direct communication between buyers/sellers or students/teachers. Once approved by the app administrator, your submitted Name and Phone Number will be visible to other app users. We do not sell this data to any third-party marketing agencies.

E. Audio Content & User Submissions (Christian Messengers’ Songs) The Application features a dedicated section for MP3 songs (“கிறிஸ்துவ தூதர்களின் பாடல்கள்” / Christian Messengers’ Songs). These audio tracks are either originally produced by our team or voluntarily submitted by independent creators, singers, and well-wishers.

Content Hosting & Consent: By voluntarily submitting audio files to us, the respective creators grant us the permission to host, distribute, and stream their content within the Application.
Copyright & Privacy: We strictly respect intellectual property rights and only feature content with the explicit consent of the original creators. Streaming or listening to these MP3 songs does not collect any personally identifiable information from the listeners.

2. Permissions We Request

To provide the features mentioned above, the Application requires the following permissions:

CAMERA: Required to capture photos for creating Verse Cards and Status images.

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Required to pick photos from your gallery for editing and to load background images.

WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to save the created Verse Cards/Status images to your phone’s gallery so you can share them.

INTERNET: Required to load song lyrics, submit prayer requests, and fetch church announcements.

NOTIFICATIONS: Required to send you reminders for birthdays, anniversaries, and church events.

3. Data Security We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Personal Photos: Your personal photos used in the “Status Design” feature remain on your device and are not collected by us.

Bible & Songs: Reading history and favorites are stored locally on your device.

4. Third-Party Services The Application may facilitate sharing content to third-party platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) at your request. Please note that once you share content to these platforms, their respective privacy policies apply.

5. Children’s Privacy The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Data Deletion Request If you have submitted your Name and Phone Number for the “Christian Store” or “Music Teachers” directory and wish to have it removed, you can request data deletion at any time. Please send an email to asskanthi76@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. We will completely delete your submitted data from our database within 3 to 5 business days.
