This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Anbin Parimatram (அன்பின் பரிமாற்றம்) (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Charles Newton. The Application is a comprehensive Christian utility app designed for Bible study, worship, photo editing, and church management.

1. Information We Collect and Use

A. User-Generated Content (Verse Cards, Poster Maker & Daily Wishes) The Application allows you to create “Verse Cards” (வசன அட்டை), “Daily Wishes Posters” (for Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc.), and Church Announcements using your own photos, default backgrounds, and our digital Drawing Board.

  • Camera & Gallery: We access your device’s camera and photo gallery only to allow you to select images for editing (cropping, adding frames/text, or drawing).

  • Local Processing: All image editing and poster generation are performed locally on your device. We do not upload your personal photos or the status images you create to our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them via third-party apps (like WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.).

B. Prayer Requests, Announcements & Reminders

  • Prayer Requests: If you use the “Prayer Request” (ஜெப விண்ணப்பம்) feature, the information you provide (name, prayer details) is transmitted securely to the app administrator/church team to pray for you.

  • Announcements & Reminders: The app fetches church announcements and allows you to set reminders for birthdays, anniversaries, and memorial days. This reminder data is stored locally on your device to trigger notifications.

C. Community Directories (Christian Store & Music Teachers) To use community features like the “Christian Store” or “Music Teachers Directory,” you may voluntarily submit personal information such as your Name, Phone Number, District, and details about your service or items.

  • Cloud Storage: This information is stored securely in our cloud database (Google Firebase).

  • Public Display: The data you provide is collected solely to facilitate direct communication between buyers/sellers or students/teachers. Once approved by the app administrator, your submitted Name and Phone Number will be visible to other app users. We do not sell this data to any third-party marketing agencies.

D. Audio Content & User Submissions (MP3 Songs) The Application features a dedicated section for MP3 songs (“கிறிஸ்துவ தூதர்களின் பாடல்கள்”). These audio tracks are either originally produced by our team or voluntarily submitted by independent creators, singers, and well-wishers.

  • Content Hosting & Consent: By voluntarily submitting audio files to us, creators grant us permission to host and stream their content. We do not collect personally identifiable information from listeners.

E. Live Worship Links (External Platforms) The app features a “Live Worship” section that redirects users to third-party streaming platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Zoom, and Google Meet). We do not host these streams or collect your login credentials when you connect to these external services.

F. Custom Liturgy (சொந்த ஆராதனை முறை) Users can create and save their own custom worship orders. All custom liturgies created by the user are stored strictly locally on the user’s device and are never uploaded to our cloud servers.

G. Projector & Multimedia Mode The app connects to external displays (TV/Projectors) to display lyrics, sermons, and Bible verses. This feature does not collect or transmit personal data.

2. Permissions We Request To provide the features mentioned above, the Application requires the following permissions:

  • CAMERA: Required to capture photos for Verse Cards, Daily Wishes, and Posters.

  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Required to pick photos from your gallery for editing.

  • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to save the created Posters/Verse Cards to your phone’s gallery.

  • INTERNET: Required to load song lyrics, submit prayer requests, fetch church announcements, and redirect to Live Worship streams.

  • NOTIFICATIONS: Required to send you reminders for birthdays, anniversaries, and church events.

3. Data Security We are committed to protecting your privacy.

  • Personal Photos: Remain entirely on your device and are not collected by us.

  • Bible & Songs: Reading history and favorites are stored locally.

  • Daily Bible Games Data: Your game progress, including ‘Blessing Points’, ‘Streak Days’, and ‘Last Played Date’, are stored strictly locally on your device (using SharedPreferences) to track your daily progress. We do not transmit or store your game data on our cloud servers.

4. Third-Party Services The Application may facilitate sharing content to third-party platforms (e.g., WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) at your request. Once you share content, their respective privacy policies apply. We use third-party services like:

  • Google Play Services

  • Google Firebase (Firestore)

5. Children’s Privacy The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

7. Data Deletion Request If you have submitted your Name and Phone Number for the “Christian Store” or “Music Teachers” directory and wish to have it removed, you can request data deletion at any time. Please send an email to asskanthi76@gmail.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. We will completely delete your submitted data from our database within 3 to 5 business days.
